In church, Reverend Rachel held a beautiful service about Advent. Rachel reminded us that Advent was a time of preparation, reflection, and joyful anticipation. It is a time of waiting. Advent marks the beginning of the liturgical year and serves as a beautiful reminder of the true meaning of the holiday season. A special Advent Wreath Lighting Ceremony is a symbolic tradition which involves lighting one candle each week leading up to Christmas, representing the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love. I would like to say a big thank you to our Loud Voices Club for their poem and reading the prayer. Thank you, Rachel, for donating such a beautiful wreath to our school.
